Gede Ruins day trip from Watamu
The Gede Ruins are the remains of a medieval Swahili town swallowed by forest — palaces, mosques and wells hidden among baobabs. The site is a short drive from GK Palms.
Allow two to three hours with a guide to understand the layout. Morning visits are cooler. Combine with Bio-Ken Snake Farm or a beach afternoon.
